Allianz completes share buyback program and signs Greek partnership

Allianz has concluded its current share buyback program for the year, having repurchased approximately 6.25 million shares. This represents 1.64% of the company's outstanding shares, with a total volume of 2.5 billion euros and an average purchase price of approximately 400 euros per share.

In a separate strategic move, Allianz signed binding agreements with the National Bank of Greece on October 14. Under the terms of the deal, the National Bank of Greece will acquire a 30% stake in Allianz Greece. The agreement also includes an exclusive distribution contract through the bank's network, which is scheduled to commence in early 2027. The transaction remains subject to regulatory approvals, and the specific purchase price has not been disclosed.
