Allianz-Țiriac announces leadership transitions for 2026

Allianz-Țiriac has announced a series of leadership transitions scheduled for late 2026 to ensure organizational continuity. Aurel Badea will step down from the company on December 31, 2026, after nearly 33 years of service. During his tenure, Badea held several key roles, including Deputy CEO, and was instrumental in developing the company’s actuarial and underwriting departments.

In November 2026, Adriana Matache, who currently serves as Chief Financial Officer and Deputy CEO, will transition to lead the Technical division. In this new capacity, she will oversee product management, underwriting, and actuarial activities while maintaining her position as Deputy CEO.

To fill the resulting vacancy, Andrei Rubeli will join the company in November 2026 as the new Chief Financial Officer. Rubeli brings over 16 years of experience in the insurance sector, specifically in finance, pricing, and actuarial roles. CEO Virgil Șoncutean noted that these changes are part of a focus on long-term leadership development.
