Allianz-Țiriac provides insurance coverage for animal-related vehicle damage

Insurance coverage for vehicle damage caused by animals depends on the specific type of policy and contractual conditions. According to information from the ‘Într-o secundă’ project, conducted by ProMotor in collaboration with Allianz-Țiriac, CASCO components in certain Allianz-Țiriac My Car packages (Plus, Extra, and Max) can cover damages resulting from collisions with animals.

This coverage also extends to damage caused by animals biting, scratching, or breaking components, as well as instances where an animal enters or stays in the engine compartment. However, a significant limitation exists: damages caused by animals inside the passenger cabin or the trunk are not covered under this specific category.

In the event of a collision while driving, drivers are advised to prioritize safety by using hazard lights, wearing a reflective vest, and placing a warning triangle. If possible, the vehicle should be moved off the roadway to avoid blocking traffic and reducing the risk of further accidents.
