Allianz Trade appoints Scott Munafò as China CEO

Allianz Trade in Asia Pacific has appointed Scott Munafò as its new CEO for China, effective September 1, 2026. Based in Shanghai, Munafò is tasked with leading the company’s next phase of growth within the Chinese market.

Munafò joined Allianz Trade in 2015 and has held various commercial and account management roles across the MMEA, APAC, and Northern Europe regions. His previous positions include Regional Account Director for Northern Europe and Group Head of Broker Management and Partnerships, where he oversaw global commercial and distribution strategies.
