Allison Guerriero, former partner of ex-FBI official Charles McGonigal, found dead
Allison Guerriero, the former partner of convicted ex-FBI counterintelligence official Charles McGonigal, has been found dead at her home in Boynton Beach, Florida. Guerriero, 52, was a key figure in exposing McGonigal’s illegal activities, which led to his conviction for sanctions violations and concealing payments from an Albanian intelligence officer.
Her death occurred shortly after she had been highly active on the social network X, posting approximately 75 messages. In her final posts, she expressed intense dissatisfaction with the FBI and called for attention to be directed toward other federal officials. While the cause of death has not yet been officially released, Boynton Beach police stated there are currently no signs of criminal activity. Guerriero’s father, Bill, has expressed his belief that she would not have taken her own life.
Guerriero had previously gained prominence for her claims regarding McGonigal’s connections to Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama, alleging that McGonigal traveled to Albania to meet with Rama and maintained a personal relationship with him. Her testimony and information were significant during the investigations into McGonigal’s conduct.
