Insel Gruppe and Arbonia report divergent H1 2026 financial results
Insel Gruppe reported a 60 percent increase in group profit for the first half of 2026, reaching 41.9 million Swiss francs. This growth was primarily driven by the outpatient sector, which saw a 7.4 percent increase in revenue. Despite the profit rise, the group's operating cash flow fell to -145.1 million Swiss francs due to billing delays following the introduction of the new Tardoc outpatient tariff system.
Arbonia reported a 3.6 percent increase in net sales to 318.2 million Swiss francs for the first half of 2026. However, adjusted EBITDA fell by 8.9 percent to 23.8 million Swiss francs. The company attributed this decline in profitability to difficulties during an SAP implementation at Garant, which resulted in a one-time transformation charge of approximately 8.4 million Swiss francs. Consequently, Arbonia has lowered its full-year 2026 growth forecast.
