Allshores donates $3 million to Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre

Allshores has announced a $3 million donation to be distributed over three years to the Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre (BCHC). The funding is intended to improve access to advanced diagnostic capabilities and enhanced treatment services within Bermuda.

The investment will support several key medical advancements, including the acquisition of Bermuda’s first PET scanner for on-island diagnostic use. Additionally, the funds will facilitate the development of an Integrative Wellness Centre to expand prevention and treatment-support programs, and the installation of a second Linear Accelerator (LINAC) to expand radiation therapy capacity.

Abigail Clifford, Group President and CEO of Allshores, stated that the donation aims to help residents receive diagnosis and treatment close to home, reducing travel costs and disruption. The initiative builds on a 30-year relationship between Allshores and the Centre, specifically through the Allshores Breast Cancer Awareness Walk and its support of the Equal Access Fund.
