Allu Arjun and Lokesh Kanagaraj tease updates on upcoming film

Director Lokesh Kanagaraj has teased “interesting updates” regarding his upcoming film collaboration with actor Allu Arjun, tentatively titled AA23. Kanagaraj shared a photo of himself in discussion with Arjun on social media, fueling anticipation for the project, which is expected to have a pan-Indian release.

While previous rumors suggested the project might be shelved, Allu Arjun’s team clarified that the film is proceeding. However, unconfirmed reports suggest the actor may be seeking script revisions, specifically regarding the second half of the story, to ensure a fully realized narrative before production begins.

The film, which marks Arjun’s 23rd lead role and Kanagaraj’s seventh directorial, is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers. The production is expected to feature music by Anirudh Ravichander and a script developed by Rathna Kumar. While plot details remain under wraps, speculation suggests the film may include science-fiction or superhero elements and a distinct new look for Arjun.
