Allu Arjun's AA23 Film Rumored to Omit Heroine

The upcoming Telugu action drama AA23, starring Allu Arjun and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, is reportedly being developed without a heroine—a rare move for mainstream Telugu cinema that typically incorporates romance and song sequences. The rumor, unconfirmed by the makers, suggests the film will focus solely on action, characters and storytelling.

Lokesh Kanagaraj previously delivered hit action‑dramas such as Kaithi and Vikram that minimized romance, and the collaboration with Allu Arjun marks their first joint project. Production is handled by Mythri Movie Makers with music by Anirudh Ravichander, and shooting is expected to commence after Allu Arjun finishes his current project, Raaka.
