Allu Arjun's mega-budget film ‘Raaka’ completes Mumbai filming schedule

Production for the high-budget science-fiction action drama ‘Raaka’ has reached a new milestone, with the team successfully wrapping up a major filming schedule in Mumbai. Following the completion of these dramatic and indoor scenes, lead actor Allu Arjun has returned to Hyderabad.

Filming is expected to resume in September at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad, where a massive set is being constructed for high-octane action sequences, including the film’s interval block. The project, directed by Atlee and produced by Sun Pictures, has an estimated budget of approximately 700 crore rupees.

The film is reported to feature Allu Arjun in a triple role spanning three distinct timelines: the ancient Vedic era, the modern age, and a mysterious setting involving mythical creatures. The cast is expected to include Rashmika Mandanna, Deepika Padukone, and potentially Janhvi Kapoor. Reports suggest a narrative connection between the characters played by Mandanna and Padukone, with the story involving themes of survival and protection.
