Ally Hague announces she is cancer-free after 15-month battle
Ally Hague, wife of Nashville Predators defenseman Nic Hague, announced on August 11 that she is cancer-free following a 15-month battle with colon cancer. The diagnosis occurred when she was 26 years old.
In a social media post, Ally detailed her medical journey, which included five procedures, two major surgeries, six rounds of chemotherapy, one round of IVF, and ten rounds of immunotherapy. She expressed gratitude to her medical team at Vanderbilt University and to those who provided support through prayers and care packages.
Earlier this year, the Hagues collaborated with the Nashville Predators Foundation to raise awareness for colorectal cancer, emphasizing that the disease can affect young individuals and often begins without symptoms. Nic Hague noted that early detection was a critical factor in saving Ally's life.
