Allyson Bezerra linked to corruption probe via leaked Federal Police audio

A video recorded via environmental listening by the Federal Police inside Dismed Distribuidora de Medicamentos has been released as part of the Mederi Operation investigation. The recording, dated May 13, 2025, features partner Oseas Monthalggan Fernandes Costa discussing the former mayor of Mossoró, Allyson Bezerra.

In the footage, Costa remarks that if he were mayor, he would not care if he were called a thief, contrasting this with the current mayor of Mossoró, who allegedly acts with caution to avoid detection. The Federal Police Criminal Representation suggests the dialogue may indicate awareness of wrongdoing by Bezerra, though it notes the specific comment “does not constitute direct proof.”

Additionally, the investigation includes discussions regarding efforts to influence the former financial director of the Health Secretariat, Poliana Rezende Dantas, to increase procurement volumes. The Mederi Operation continues to investigate potential corruption involving the former mayor and current gubernatorial candidate.
