Alma Quesera gastronomic space opens in Ciudad Real

The Quesos Don Apolonio family has inaugurated ‘Alma Quesera’ in Ciudad Real, a multi-purpose gastronomic space located in the former Hotel Almanzor. The project includes a gourmet shop, a gastrobar, and areas for tastings, workshops, and exhibitions. Future plans for the site include the addition of 30 apartment-hotel units to expand local accommodation options.

During the opening, José Manuel Caballero, the second Vice President of the Castilla-La Mancha Government, highlighted the regional administration's commitment to promoting high-quality local food products. He announced that 2.8 million euros have been allocated for 2026 to support the promotion and commercialization of regional agri-food products through international fairs, tastings, and media advertising. The initiative aims to strengthen the ‘Campo’ and ‘Alma’ quality guarantee brands, which currently include 41 different products.
