Almacenes El Rey to hire 370 employees via job fair

Almacenes El Rey has launched a recruitment process to hire 370 new employees. To facilitate this, the company will host a job fair on Thursday, September 3, starting at 9:00 a.m. at five of its locations: La Lima in Cartago, Zapote, Escazú, San Francisco de Heredia, and Alajuela.

The available positions are primarily in customer service, sales, and operations, with a specific focus on cashiers and sales clerks. The company is seeking candidates ranging from youth looking for their first job and students seeking work-study balance to individuals with one to three years of experience in service or operational roles.

Applicants can present their resumes in physical or digital formats at the participating stores or apply online through the company’s recruitment platform. Basic requirements include having completed the ninth grade, good communication skills, teamwork abilities, and schedule availability. Rupert Araya, Human Talent Manager at Almacenes El Rey, stated that the initiative aims to provide opportunities for professional growth within a stable company.
