Almaviva Group launches Ultra AI framework for critical sectors

Almaviva Group has launched Ultra, a new strategic artificial intelligence framework designed to integrate and enhance data technologies across mission-critical sectors, including healthcare, finance, and transport. The announcement took place in Rome during the “Valore IA” conference, attended by various institutional leaders, including Undersecretary for Technological Innovation Alessio Butti.

Ultra is built on five foundations—Trust, Bridge, Transformation, Factory, and Automation—and aims to translate the company’s existing AI models and platforms into measurable value for businesses and public administrations. Valeria Sandei, Global Chief AI Officer, emphasized that the challenge lies in transforming AI into concrete value through pragmatic implementation and measurement.

In separate news, SolidWorld Group, a company specializing in 3D digital solutions and AI for industrial and biomedical sectors, reported a return to profitability in the first half of 2026. The group recorded a consolidated net profit of 0.08 million euros, a significant improvement from the 1.3 million euro loss reported during the same period in 2025.
