Levante UD defeats Albacete 2-1 in pre‑season friendly

Levante UD came from behind to beat Albacete Balompié 2–1 in a closed‑door pre‑season match played in Buñol, Valencia. Albacete opened the scoring in the 26th minute through Lorenzo. Levante equalised before halftime when Roger Brugué netted after a pass from Dani Requena. In the second half, newcomer Etta Eyong scored the winner with an acrobatic header, giving the visitors a 2–1 lead.

The match marked the debut of Algerian defender Aïssa Mandi, who was signed earlier in the week and started the first half. Coach Luís Castro praised the team's performance, noting that the victory provides good momentum ahead of the upcoming league season. It was Levante’s third summer win, reinforcing the squad’s preparation for the new campaign.
