Almería family completes 6,071 kilometer European trip in electric vehicle
A family from Huércal de Almería has completed a 19-day journey across eight European countries using an electric vehicle. Traveling from Almería to Genoa, the group covered a total of 6,071 kilometers, reaching a maximum distance of 2,147 kilometers from their home.
The travelers utilized a Mercedes EQS SUV and relied on a specialized application to plan charging stops based on their route. This planning allowed them to maintain a real autonomy of between 300 and 400 kilometers per charge. The family reported that charging sessions typically lasted about 30 minutes, which they used as rest periods. They noted that the trip was more cost-effective than traveling with a combustion engine vehicle and encountered no significant issues with the electric infrastructure.
