Almería Port Authority to relocate maritime services by 2027

The Almería Port Authority (APA), Puertos del Estado, and the General Directorate of Merchant Marine have reached an agreement to relocate maritime services to advance the ‘Puerto-Ciudad’ project. Starting in June 2027, the facilities currently occupied by the Maritime Captaincy and Salvamento Marítimo will be vacated to create new leisure and recreational spaces at the Muelle de Levante.

The services will move to the second floor of the Border Control Post (PCF) located in the industrial port area of Poniente. The APA will undertake the necessary works to adapt the space, which includes providing independent entrances for both agencies and reserving 30 parking spaces for personnel. This relocation aims to ensure continued service quality while facilitating urban development near the port.
