Almere City FC signs Martin Wasinski on loan from Schalke 04

Almere City FC has completed the signing of Belgian right-back Martin Wasinski on a loan deal from Schalke 04. The agreement includes an option for the Dutch club to purchase the 22-year-old player permanently.

Wasinski, who was trained at Sporting Charleroi, joins the squad immediately to compete for a position under head coach Anoush Dastgir. Previously, the defender gained experience through loan spells at KRC Genk, RFC Liège, and KV Kortrijk. Following a move to Schalke 04 in 2024, he is now seeking more consistent playing time in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie.
