Almere Haven authorities seize airsoft weapons during business park inspections

Authorities conducted a large-scale inspection of business parks in Almere Haven, targeting potential criminal activity and safety violations. During the operation, which involved the police, customs, and environmental services, several airsoft weapons were seized from a commercial property because they lacked the necessary permits and closely resembled real firearms.

Inspectors also identified several issues during the checks of 42 commercial buildings and multiple storage locations. These included indications that people might be living in industrial spaces, which is often prohibited, and various fire safety deficiencies, such as non-compliant fire extinguishing equipment. While small amounts of soft drugs and low-category F1 fireworks were found, no major legal actions were taken regarding those specific items.
