Almirante Brown celebrates Longchamps anniversary and hosts regional music event

The municipality of Almirante Brown recently marked the 116th anniversary of Longchamps with institutional ceremonies and community activities. Local officials highlighted recent infrastructure developments in the area, including the newly enabled Diehl street underpass and the inauguration of the new Community Integration Center (CIC) in the Rayo de Sol neighborhood.

Additionally, the district hosted the First Regional Encounter of Music for Women, Diversities, and Indigenous Peoples at the Casa Municipal de la Cultura in Adrogué. Supported by the National Institute of Music (INAMU), the event brought together approximately 200 participants from various municipalities in the Buenos Aires metropolitan area. During the gathering, the Asociación Civil Música de Mujeres inaugurated its second national headquarters in the district, intended to serve as a cultural hub for the southern Conurbano region to promote gender perspective and artistic networking.
