Almirante Brown Municipality improves access at Lucio Meléndez Hospital
The Municipality of Almirante Brown has announced ongoing construction of new sidewalks and access points at the Lucio Meléndez Provincial Hospital. The project aims to improve transitability and facilitate movement for patients, families, and staff.
The works include the construction of 77 linear meters of sidewalk, two meters wide, in the parking area to create a safe connection to the Emergency Room entrance. The intervention also features the installation of access ramps to improve mobility for persons with reduced mobility and to provide a consolidated pedestrian path, which will prevent people from having to walk through mud or dirt during rainy weather.
These improvements are part of a broader series of renovation efforts at the hospital, which include upgrading internal roads, painting the premises, repairing the Pediatrics ward, and a complete renovation of the intermediate care inpatient sector.
