Almonty Industries exits TSX and ASX, consolidates trading on Nasdaq and Frankfurt
Almonty Industries announced that its shares will cease trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange on 31 July 2026 and will be removed from the Australian Securities Exchange by 1 September 2026. The company will continue to list on the Nasdaq under the ticker ALM and on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, describing the change as a consolidation of its primary trading venues and a cost‑saving measure. Canadian and Australian shareholders are given a one‑month window to sell their TSX‑listed shares or convert their Australian CDIs into Nasdaq shares on a 1:1 basis, with a voluntary sale facility remaining open until 6 November 2026.
The delisting follows a period of strong price gains for Almonty, a tungsten producer, after which the stock experienced a sharp correction. Investors are now also watching a broader shift in the critical‑minerals market, as governments in the US, Europe and Asia pour billions into supply‑chain independence for rare earths, niobium and other strategic resources. Almonty’s focus on tungsten places it within this emerging investment theme, alongside companies such as Lynas Rare Earths that are already benefiting from heightened demand for non‑Chinese sources of critical minerals.
