Almonty Industries shifts primary listing to Nasdaq amid exchange exits
Almonty Industries is undergoing a significant restructuring of its stock listings, transitioning its primary trading focus to the Nasdaq. The company is delisting from the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX), a process that concluded on July 31, 2026, and is also withdrawing from the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX), with the final delisting expected by September 1, 2026.
The strategic shift aims to reduce administrative costs, simplify corporate management, and consolidate liquidity on the Nasdaq and Frankfurt exchanges. While the company transitions, processing is ramping up at its Sangdong mine in South Korea, supported by a long-term tungsten off-take agreement.
In recent financial activity, SEI Investments Co. disclosed via the SEC that it reduced its stake in Almonty by 56 percent during the first quarter, retaining 216,039 shares. Despite the restructuring and tungsten price rallies, the stock has experienced high volatility and a recent downward trend, losing approximately 28.63 percent of its value over a 30-day period.
