Almoradí exceeds strategic plan goals with 64 million euro investment

The Almoradí City Council has concluded its 2021-2025 Strategic Plan, titled ‘Almoradí, Corazón de la Vega Baja’, reporting a total investment of over 64 million euros. This figure significantly exceeds the original budget of approximately 38.75 million euros, representing a 165.26% fulfillment rate of the plan's objectives.

Approximately 85% of the total investment was sourced from external funding, including the European Union, the Spanish Government, the Generalitat Valenciana, and the Diputación de Alicante. The plan focused on six key areas: economic promotion, territory and water management, climate action, social welfare, digital government, and future development.

Key completed projects include urban and commercial renovations, improvements to sidewalk accessibility, new cycling routes, and sanitation network interventions. Notable infrastructure achievements include a new water treatment plant costing over 22 million euros, a new potable water intake, the implementation of a new waste collection system, and the installation of LED public lighting.
