Almuñécar and La Herradura end summer regulated parking

The regulated parking service, commonly known as the ‘blue zone’, has concluded its summer operations in the seaside promenades of Almuñécar and La Herradura as of September 1.

In Almuñécar, the regulation covered various locations including Puerta del Mar, Velilla, Tesorillo beach, El Pozuelo beach, Avenida Adolfo Suárez, Plaza de Abderramán, Paseo de Las Flores, San Cristóbal, and the area between Rincón de la China and Cotobro. It also included Zone 8, encompassing Avenida Mar de Plata, Calle Pirámide, and Avenida Amelia Sánchez de Alcázar.

In La Herradura, the seasonal regulation affected the Andrés Segovia promenade, stretching from the Municipal Market to the intersection of Calle Álamo and Calle Gonzalo Barbero. While the service is expanded during high-traffic periods like summer and Holy Week, it remains active year-round in specific urban center areas.
