Almyros Municipality trade fair attracts tens of thousands of visitors

The annual trade fair of the Almyros Municipality has concluded, attracting tens of thousands of visitors from Magnesia, Larissa, Phthiotis, and neighboring regions. The event was noted for its high participation rate, with merchants, artisans, and hospitality professionals from across Greece filling all available spots.

The high turnout provided a significant boost to the local economy, increasing activity for businesses, accommodations, and catering services in Almyros. Mayor Dimitris Eseridis and the municipal authorities expressed gratitude to the participants and exhibitors, noting that the next major organization is planned for 2027.

Looking forward, the municipal government is considering repurposing the former Luna Park site into an exhibition center for agricultural machinery. This facility would allow businesses from Almyros, Magnesia, and surrounding areas to showcase products, with the goal of increasing the prestige and attendance of future trade fairs.
