Alnus Yatırım and three other companies fail to meet debt obligations

The Central Securities Depository (MKK) has announced that four private sector debt instruments failed to meet their scheduled principal and coupon payments on October 23, 2026. The failure was attributed to the issuers not transferring the necessary funds to the MKK.

The companies involved in the payment defaults are Alnus Yatırım Menkul Değerler A.Ş., Alves Kablo Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., Ata Varlık Kiralama A.Ş., and Fikret Petrol Ürünleri Pazarlama Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. In the case of Ata Varlık Kiralama, the fund user was identified as Fikret Petrol, meaning Fikret Petrol is linked to two of the defaulted instruments.

Specifically, Alnus Yatırım reported a total unpaid amount of 221,658,400 TL, consisting of a 200 million TL principal payment and a 21,658,400 TL interest payment. While Alnus Yatırım cited current financial conditions for the inability to pay, no specific timeline for future payments has been provided by the companies or the MKK.
