Aloeth Pathi memorial features launch of poetry collection

The Gandrung Sastra Pati community held a commemoration to mark the 100th day since the passing of poet Aloeth Pathi. The event, held at the Rumah Gandrung Sastra in Sekarjalak Village, Pati, included prayers, poetry readings, music, and art to honor his legacy.

A central highlight of the evening was the launch of ‘Nyanyian Pesisir’, a collection of 194 poems by Aloeth Pathi. The book, published by IniIbuBudi in Kudus, was symbolically presented to the poet's family by Asa Jatmiko. The poems were compiled from various sources, including personal digital files and previous anthologies.

Arif Khilwa noted that the published collection is only a fraction of the poet's total work, estimating that nearly 1,000 poem titles may exist, many of which remain undocumented.
