Alok performs high-tech electronic set at Rock in Rio 2026

DJ Alok delivered a high-tech electronic music performance at Rock in Rio 2026, utilizing an extensive visual production at the Palco Mundo. The set featured approximately 1,500 drones flying up to 300 meters in height, creating various shapes including futuristic heads and spacecraft over the Olympic Park.

In addition to the drone display, the performance included pyrotechnics, lasers, and 45 dancers from the Italian company Urban Theory. The setlist blended electronic beats with various influences, including funk carioca and musical references to Rockwell and System of a Down. During the performance of ‘Hear me now’, Alok was joined on stage by singer Zeeba.

Despite a brief delay at the start of the set, the performance successfully engaged a crowd that was largely waiting for the K-pop group Stray Kids. Alok also included a more acoustic segment featuring piano ballads before concluding with a new track involving a collaboration with a female K-pop group.
