Alpe di Siusi experiences autumn season in the Dolomites

The Alpe di Siusi, the largest plateau in Europe spanning 56 square kilometers in the Dolomites, enters its autumn season characterized by golden larch forests and cooler temperatures.

Olympic luger Andrea Vötter, who grew up in Fiè allo Sciliar, highlights the region as a place for slow-paced nature experiences, such as sunrise hikes on the Sciliar massif and visits to the Lake of Fiè. The seasonal culinary program, ‘Piaceri autunnali in montagna’, runs from September 1 to October 30, featuring traditional local dishes like strudel and canederli.
