Alpen Co., Ltd. expands marathon sponsorship to 18 events in Japan

Alpen Co., Ltd. has announced a significant expansion of its marathon sponsorship project in Japan. The company will now support a total of 18 marathon events across the country, including seven new sponsorships.

The initiative aims to promote the enjoyment of running through the ALPEN RUN community brand. Support will extend beyond traditional full and half marathons to include relay and ultra-marathons. To facilitate this, the company will utilize its network of approximately 200 Sports Depo and Alpen stores, along with its membership base of 11 million people, to promote event entries and host preparatory events for runners.

As part of the first phase, the brand TIGORA will produce special commemorative T-shirts for the 2026 Hokkaido Marathon. These shirts will feature moisture-wicking and heat-shielding materials, incorporating the event's theme song by Sakanaction and a course map design.
