Alpen Park installs first Sunkid mountain coaster in Brazil

Alpen Park in Canela is currently installing a new mountain coaster, marking the first Sunkid coaster in Brazil. The project involves an estimated investment of R$ 10 million and is approximately 60% complete.

Wolfgang Lindorfer, an engineer from the Austrian manufacturer Sunkid Braso, recently conducted a technical visit to inspect the installation. His evaluation focused on safety aspects, including foundations, bridges, security corridors, and protection devices, to ensure the attraction meets project standards.

The new equipment utilizes gravity-based technology identical to models used in Austria. The course will feature elevated bridges, high sections, and a loop, crossing several times with the park's existing coaster line. While the equipment is Austrian, the substructures and foundations were designed and manufactured locally in Brazil to meet regional requirements.
