Alpen to open Sports Depo and Golf 5 stores in Yamaguchi

Alpen Co., Ltd. will launch the Sports Depo and Golf 5 stores at the Onoda Sunpark commercial facility in Sanyo-Onoda, Yamaguchi Prefecture, on September 11, 2026. The new location will feature specialized sections for running, soccer, basketball, and golf.

The running section will include a trial space using tartantrack material from the National Stadium and 3D foot measurement services. The soccer area will feature artificial turf to allow customers to test cleats in a realistic environment. The Golf 5 section will offer a wide selection of new and used clubs from major brands, including TaylorMade, Callaway, and Ping, along with in-store hitting bays for testing.

Additionally, the existing Sports Depo Yamaguchi store will undergo a significant renewal on the same day. To celebrate the openings, Alpen will offer a 15% point return on purchases at the Onoda Sunpark and Yamaguchi locations from September 11 to September 17, 2026.
