Alpenhof hotels unveil major upgrades in Hintertux and Murnau
The Alpenhof hotel chain has completed extensive renovation projects at two of its resorts. In the Hintertux Alpine valley, the Alpenhof Hintertux added a 4,000‑square‑metre wellness area that includes a rooftop whirlpool with glacier views, a new Adults‑Only spa, ten nature suites, a panoramic fitness studio and several new sauna and pool facilities. The expansion was carried out while the hotel remained operational, according to hotel manager Klaus Dengg.
At the Alpenhof Murnau on the Staffelsee, new ownership has launched a “Golf Loft” indoor training space equipped with a high‑end TrackMan‑4 system, alongside 14 upgraded bathrooms, a new pool bar and a full‑fibre‑optic network throughout the resort. Hotel manager Christian Bär and owner Peter Inselkammer say the upgrades are part of a quality‑offensive aimed at enhancing guest comfort without disrupting ongoing service.
Both projects illustrate the brand’s strategy of modernising facilities and expanding premium amenities while maintaining continuous guest operations.
