Alpha Bank has announced the complete removal of currency conversion fees for its Aegean Bonus Visa cardholders. Previously, transactions conducted in currencies other than the euro were subject to a 2% conversion fee.

The new 0% fee applies to both physical purchases made abroad and online transactions through international e-shops. According to the bank, this benefit is available without time restrictions, transaction limits, or specific conditions, and it does not require the activation of any additional packages.

The update is already active for the entire Aegean Bonus Visa family, including Aegean Bonus Visa Debit, Aegean Bonus Visa Credit (for cards issued after June 1, 2021), and Aegean Bonus Visa Premium Credit. Cardholders will also continue to earn Bonus points on all transactions, including daily purchases made in euros.
