Alpha Bank launches FinQuest 2026 for European startups

Alpha Bank has launched its FinQuest 2026 innovation competition, expanding its scope to include startups from across Europe. The initiative seeks technological proposals capable of driving digital and operational transformation within the banking sector.

Interested startups have until September 20 to submit applications. The competition aims to identify solutions for critical challenges in the financial industry. The first-place winner will receive a €15,000 prize and the opportunity to conduct a pilot implementation of their solution in a real banking environment, working closely with the bank’s operational and technological teams.

Following the application deadline, a specialized committee will select the six best ideas to enter a two-month accelerator program in October and November 2026. This program will provide mentoring, workshops, and networking opportunities to help finalists refine their proposals.
