Alpha Channel Announces New Greek Drama “Daughters of Virtue”

Greek broadcaster Alpha has unveiled its upcoming prime‑time series “Οι Κόρες της Αρετής” (Daughters of Virtue), an adaptation of a popular foreign drama. The show will air daily at 20:00 in the new television season and stars Mariana Toumasatou as the ruthless mother Virtue, alongside Asimenia Voulio and a supporting cast that includes Stavros Toumas, Giannis Perlegas and others.

The plot follows Virtue, a widowed mother who uses her two daughters as tools to escape poverty and gain wealth and status, leading to family conflict, betrayal and forbidden romance. The series is described as “a mother willing to sacrifice her children’s happiness for money and fame.”

Alpha positions the drama as one of its most discussed new arrivals, continuing its strategy of adapting successful foreign formats for Greek audiences.
