ALPHA DRIVE ONE wins Music Bank trophy amid fan controversy

Rookie group ALPHA DRIVE ONE secured their third music show trophy for the song ‘BORN DIRE’ on the September 4 episode of KBS’s ‘Music Bank’. The group won first place with a total of 8,794 points, competing against NCT 127’s ‘Blingy’.

Following the win, the group’s voting team account faced intense backlash from NCT fans after posting a message questioning the accuracy of Circle Chart scores. The post suggested that the high scores received by the opposing team were puzzling and noted that they had contacted Circle Chart without receiving a response.

Although the voting team deleted the post and issued an apology, they faced continued criticism. Fans argued that the apology was inadequate because it maintained an underlying assumption that the competing group's scores were erroneous.
