Alpha launches drama series “The Daughters of Virtue” in Greece

Greek broadcaster Alpha is adding a new mythic drama to its lineup called “The Daughters of Virtue.” The series, produced by Pedio Productions, adapts the Turkish format “MRS. FAZILET AND HER DAUGHTERS” and is slated to premiere in the autumn season.

The show follows a widowed mother, Arête, who strives to give her two daughters a better life, confronting love, ambition and family secrets. The cast includes Marrianna Toumasatou, Asimenia Voulioti, Georgía Mesariti and a roster of veteran Greek actors such as Giannis Perlegkas, Dimitris Xanthopoulos, and Manía Papadimitiou. Music is composed by award‑winning Nikos Terzis.

Alpha highlights the series as part of its ongoing investment in high‑budget fiction, noting that the original format has aired in more than 50 countries and earned multiple international awards.
