ANT1 launches high‑budget period drama “Kryno kai Agathi”

ANT1 is rolling out “Kryno kai Agathi”, a period drama set in Arcadia in 1959. The production, backed by the Greek Ministry of Culture (EKKOMED), carries a reported budget of around €9 million, making it the network’s most expensive series to date.

The story follows a young woman who marries the man she holds responsible for her brother’s death, intertwining revenge, love and family intrigue. The cast includes Αναστασία Παντούση as the heroine, Γιώργος Γεροντιδάκης as the imprisoned husband, and supporting roles for Κατερίνα Διδασκάλου, Γιάννης Τσόρτεκης, Στέλιος Μάινας and Μαρία Ζορμπά. The series also reunites actors from the successful “Wild Bees” production.

Production is slated for the upcoming autumn season on ANT1.
