Alpha TV announces new drama series for upcoming season

Alpha TV is expanding its scripted programming lineup for the upcoming television season with two new series developments.

The drama series ‘The Daughters of Areti’ (Oi kores tis Areti) is set to premiere. Based on the format ‘Mrs. Fazilet and Her Daughters’, the story follows Areti, a widow determined to provide a better life for her two daughters, Natalia and Anna, through intense ambition. The plot centers on the collision between Areti’s family and the powerful Kechagia family.

Additionally, the series ‘Killers in the Bell Tower’ (Foni sto kampanario) is returning for a second season. The new installment features Thanos Lekkas in the role of Angelos, a professional assassin living a double life as a vestiary owner. The plot follows a group of nuns who flee to an abandoned monastery in Karditsa to escape a killer, only to encounter surreal situations and hidden secrets within the convent.
