Alpha TV adds ‘Rififi’ and ‘The Daughters of Virtue’ to its drama lineup

Greek broadcaster Alpha TV announced that the crime‑drama series “Rififi”, originally aired on Cosmote TV and based on the 1992 Athens bank robbery, will debut on the free‑to‑air channel in the upcoming season. The series, directed by Soteris Tsafoulis and written by Vasilis Risvas and Dimitra Sakali, follows three men linked by loss and a mysterious woman named Olga.

In the same programming slate, Alpha also introduced the new drama “The Daughters of Virtue”, starring Marianna Toumasatou as the ambitious mother Arête. The series explores her struggle to lift her family out of poverty, confronting the elite Kechagia family and highlighting the heavy price of social ambition.

Both series are part of Alpha’s effort to refresh its prime‑time schedule with original Greek productions.
