Alpha TV launches two new Greek drama series adaptations

Greek broadcaster Alpha is preparing its new season with two high‑profile drama series. The first, "Οι κόρες της Αρετής" (The Daughters of Virtue), stars Marianna Toumasatou in the lead role and adapts the Turkish hit "Fazilet". The production promises intense family intrigue, class conflict and a controversial mother‑daughter relationship.

The second series, "Μια γυναίκα" (A Woman), is based on the successful Turkish drama "Kadın", previously aired in Greece as "Μια Ζωή". Directed by Pierrós Andrakákos, it stars Danai Pappa and Elisavet Moutafi and follows a widowed mother fighting to protect her children amid betrayal and secrets. Both projects are part of Alpha’s strategy to bring internationally proven formats to Greek audiences, aiming for strong viewership in the upcoming TV season.
