Alpha TV launches new drama series for October prime time

Greek television networks are undergoing significant programming shifts for the October prime time season. Alpha TV is introducing new drama series, including the premiere of ‘Oi kores tis Aretis’ (The Daughters of Areti) on Monday, October 5, with a double episode. The series follows Areti, a widow from Drapetsona, and her two daughters, Anna and Natalia, as their lives intersect with the wealthy Kechagia family.

Alpha is also scheduled to premiere ‘Mia Gynaika’ (A Woman) on Wednesday, October 7. Other networks are adjusting their schedules to manage competition; ANT1 is reordering its evening block with ‘Krino kai agkathi’ and ‘Derti’, while Mega continues its current lineup. These changes represent a strategic effort by broadcasters to capture high viewership during the new television season.
