Alphabet Inc. Q1 institutional holdings rise and fall as Resona adds and Hikari trims shares
Resona Asset Management increased its stake in Alphabet during the first quarter, buying 22,183 shares to hold 1,564,677 shares worth about $445 million, representing roughly 2.2 % of its portfolio and making Alphabet its sixth‑largest holding.
Hikari Power reduced its Alphabet position by 15 %, selling 21,000 shares and ending the quarter with 119,000 shares valued at about $34 million, about 3 % of its holdings and its eighth‑largest position. Both changes occur as Alphabet’s stock traded around $355 per share, with a market capitalization of $4.30 trillion, earnings per share of $5.11 for the quarter and revenue of $109.9 billion.
