Alphabet tops Forbes list of most profitable companies

Forbes released its annual ranking of the world’s most profitable corporations. Alphabet led the list with an annual profit of $160 billion, followed by Microsoft at $125 billion and Apple at $123 billion. Nvidia, Saudi Aramco, Amazon, Berkshire Hathaway, Meta, TSMC and JPMorgan Chase completed the top ten, which together generated roughly $983 billion in profit.

Technology firms dominate the upper tier, underscoring the sector’s strong position in the global economy. Energy, finance and semiconductor groups also appear among the highest earners, highlighting the broad diversification of profit sources worldwide.
