Alphonse Charles Wright, the Special Prosecutor for Guinea’s Court for the Repression of Economic and Financial Crimes (CRIEF), has been honored at the 21st edition of the African Development Prize (PADEV). The ceremony, held in Kigali, Rwanda, from October 21 to 25, 2026, awarded Wright the ‘Prestige Étoile’ distinction.

This award adds to a series of previous recognitions for the magistrate, including being named best Minister of Justice in Guinea and receiving multiple honors in Morocco, such as the Grand Prix African Merit and Excellence.
