Alphonso Davies resumes training with Bayern Munich after World Cup disappointment

Canadian international Alphonso Davies, 25, returned to a solo training session with FC Bayern Munich in Munich following a frustrating World Cup in which Canada exited after a 0‑3 loss to Morocco. The winger, who missed most of the tournament due to a thigh injury that followed a previous ACL rupture, completed a short run on the club’s training ground alongside teammates Serge Gnabry, Lennart Karl and youth player Cassiano Kiala.

Bayern will begin its season‑preparation on Monday with a mandatory performance test, after which the team will move to a training camp at the Tegernsee. Injured players from the World Cup squad are expected to be reintegrated gradually during the preparation period.
