Alphonso Davies returns to Canadian squad as World Cup approaches

Marsch added that the team hopes to give Davies limited minutes in the opening match of the 2026 World Cup in Toronto on June 12 against Bosnia‑Herzegovina, with the possibility of a larger role if Canada progresses further in the tournament.
